American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Respiratory Med-Surg position requiring telemetry interpretation skills and Epic EMR proficiency.
Details- 21-bed Respiratory Med-Surg unit specializing in pulmonary disease care
- High-acuity unit with complex adult patient population requiring continuous telemetry monitoring
- Night shift schedule, 7:00PM-7:30AM, 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call requirement
- Floating required to similar units such as Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and ED boarders
- Active OH or compact RN license
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 3 years of recent Med-Surg and telemetry experience
- Proven ability to independently read and interpret telemetry strips, with a competency test required on Day 1
- Mandatory proficiency with Epic EMR with no training or refreshers provided
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult respiratory and medical-surgical patients
- Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
- Must be adaptable, efficient, and able to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
