Travel RN - Med​/Surg Tele

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Cardiac/Telemetry Med-Surg unit on night shift, requiring 3+ years of recent telemetry experience and Epic proficiency.

• Active OH or compact RN license
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Minimum 3 years of current/recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience required
• Hospital experience required
• Current Epic EMR proficiency required and must be clearly documented at time of consideration
• Must be proficient in reading telemetry

• Work primarily on the 4 South Cardiac unit within a hospital setting
• Occasional floating to other Med-Surg areas including Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Respiratory, Observation, and ED/Med-Surg boarders
• Night shift schedule (7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.) for 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Uses Epic EMR
• Will complete a telemetry competency assessment on day one, which must be passed to continue the assignment
• Epic proficiency is required from day one as refresher training or 1:1 assistance will not be provided
• Returning travelers who worked at the facility within the past 9 months may have flexibility on start date
