Asset Protection Operations Coach (USA) – Walmart
OverviewDrive sales and ensure excellent customer experience by managing asset protection, training associates, and maintaining inventory accuracy. Work under Walmart’s operational standards while leading teams and improving safety and loss prevention processes.
Responsibilities- Ensure accurate merchandise presentation, pricing, and labeling across all product lines.
- Guide and train associates on store operations, safety, and Walmart business initiatives.
- Lead teams in setting up product displays, stocking, and rotating merchandise while maintaining cleanliness.
- Investigate and resolve loss prevention incidents, including fraud, theft, and policy violations.
- Collect evidence, write case reports, and provide courtroom testimony as required.
- Conduct safety reviews, monitor accident trends, and implement preventive measures.
- Process claims and receiving operations, ensuring timely handling of damaged or returned items.
- Analyze inventory reports, identify variance, and coordinate corrective actions.
- Collaborate with store managers and other stakeholders to implement business solutions.
- Model exceptional customer service standards and promote a culture of belonging.
- Minimum 2 years of college coursework.
- 1 year experience supervising in a multi‑department environment, or 1 year experience in accounting, claims, inventory control, systems/UPC, personnel, or loss prevention/asset protection.
- 2 years experience in asset protection or related field.
- Valid state certification of eligibility for asset protection (e.g., age, training, license).
- Criminal background check and firearms authorized training (if applicable).
- Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
- Bachelor of Science in Business Management, Leadership, or related field.
- Certification in loss prevention (e.g., Loss Prevention Qualified, Loss Prevention Certified).
- Experience supervising five or more direct reports with performance management and mentoring.
- Investigative experience.
- Background in Criminal Justice.
Base salary: $65,000 – $80,000 per year + performance bonuses.
