Flex Security Officer (Unarmed)

Zanesville, OH

Schedule:

Open availability required – must be available to work any day of the week (including weekends) and any shift (1st, 2nd, or 3rd). This position requires flexibility to work on-call, fill-in shifts, and cover call-offs as needed. Hours may vary week to week, with part-time to full-time opportunities based on operational needs.

Pay: $15.30 per hour (bi-weekly pay)

We are seeking reliable, professional Flex Unarmed Security Officers to provide safety and protection for a large warehouse operation. This role is designed for officers who can adapt to changing schedules and staffing needs while maintaining a strong security presence.

• Monitor and control access to the facility and designated areas
• Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols of the property
• Observe, report, and document any unusual activities or safety concerns
• Respond to alarms and incidents in a calm and professional manner
• Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and shift documentation
• Provide excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors
• Follow all company and client policies and procedures
• Be available to respond to short-notice scheduling needs when possible

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid state-issued security license or ability to obtain one (if applicable)
• Previous security, law enforcement, or military experience preferred
• Strong observation and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and remain alert on any shift
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Reliable transportation and consistent availability required

• Flexible scheduling across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts
• Indoor/outdoor environment with periodic foot patrols
• May work alone or with limited supervision
• Schedule may change based on coverage needs

• HS Diploma
• GED or H.S. Equivalent

This is an As Needed position across 1st Shift, 2nd Shift, 3rd Shift, Weekends.

Relocation is not required and travel is not required.
