Maintenance Technician

We’re looking for a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team! In this role, you’ll play a key part in keeping our community safe, functional, and well‑maintained. If you enjoy hands‑on work, problem‑solving, and making a difference for residents, this could be the right fit for you.

• Respond to and complete resident work orders in a timely and professional manner.
• Perform general repairs and upkeep, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and appliance maintenance.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance to reduce emergency repairs and extend the life of equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues to determine the most efficient repair solutions.
• Maintain and organize tools, equipment, and supply inventory.
• Ensure work areas are clean, safe, and in compliance with safety standards.
• Assist with unit turns and prepare vacant homes for new residents.
• Oversee and coordinate work performed by outside contractors as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and staff while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

• 1–3 years of experience in maintenance, facilities, property management, or a related field (residential or commercial).
• Working knowledge of maintenance tools, equipment, and common repair practices.
• Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and handle a physical workload in a variety of weather conditions.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently or as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
