About the Role:As an apprentice, you will work alongside experienced technicians to learn the fundamentals of maintaining residential and light commercial heating and cooling systems. This is a hands-on position designed to develop your technical skills, customer service abilities, and overall trade knowledge.
What You’ll Learn & Do:- Perform routine maintenance on furnaces, air conditioners, and heat pumps
- Assist with system inspections and basic diagnostics
- Learn proper use of tools, instruments, and safety procedures
- Develop customer communication and service skills
- Maintain clean and organized work spaces, vehicles, and job sites
- Build a strong foundation for advancement into a full-service technician role
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Dependable and punctual
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Mechanical aptitude or interest in hands-on work
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work in varying physical conditions (attics, crawlspaces, outdoors)
- Current enrollment in, or graduation from, an HVAC vocational or technical training program (required)
