Are you an accounting professional who loves digging into data, improving processes, and figuring out how systems work?
Our client is seeking an Accounting Analyst to support accounting operations, reporting, ERP processes, and automation initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for an accountant who enjoys both traditional accounting responsibilities and the analytical side of improving workflows, reporting, and business systems.
What You'll Do- Develop and enhance financial, operational, and ERP-based reporting
- Analyze accounting processes and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements
- Support ERP functionality, troubleshooting, and workflow optimization
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable automation initiatives
- Partner with accounting leadership to improve business processes and reporting capabilities
- Support month-end close, reconciliations, financial analysis, and general accounting activities
- Work with data, reports, and system-generated information to drive better business decisions
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred
- Experience in accounting, financial analysis, or ERP-focused accounting roles
- Strong understanding of AP, AR, general ledger, and month-end processes
- Experience working within an ERP environment
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities
- Natural curiosity for systems, reporting, data, and process improvement
- Ability to independently manage projects and solve problems
- Manufacturing accounting experience
- Epicor, SAP, Dynamics GP, Plex, Sage, or similar ERP experience
- SQL, Power BI, reporting tools, or business intelligence exposure
- Experience with workflow automation, digital invoice processing, or process optimization
- Experience creating reports and analyzing large data sets
- Highly visible role with direct impact on accounting operations
