• Design and develop new products, components, or systems from concept to production.
• Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD models, drawings, and specifications.
• Apply Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, and supply chain.
• Conduct design analysis, simulations, and prototype testing to validate designs.
• Manage Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and implement design improvements.
• Select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes for optimal performance and cost.
• Resolve design-related production issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related technical field.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, Inventor, CATIA) for part and assembly design.
• Strong understanding of common manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, injection molding, sheet metal fabrication).
• Experience applying Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
• Knowledge of engineering materials and their selection for manufacturing applications.

• Experience with advanced simulation tools (e.g., FEA, CFD).
• Demonstrated hands‑on experience in prototyping, testing, or fabrication.
• Proficiency with Product Data Management (PDM) or Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
• Knowledge of specific manufacturing processes (e.g., injection molding, sheet metal, additive manufacturing).
