HVAC and Piping Estimator in Zion

Dynacoil, Inc. is a custom stainless steel manufacturing company providing products and services to pharmaceutical, medical and industrial customers. We are currently seeking an experienced Project Estimator to bid HVAC and Pipe fitting jobs. • Analyze and interpret information on plans, specifications, and construction documents
• Perform take off for all aspects of mechanical piping scope of work
• Manage bids, including review of addenda, subcontractor quotes, and material/equipment quotes
• Knowledge of field installation means, methods, and best practices
• Understand and abide by industry safety and quality standards
• Collaborate with in-house HVAC estimator/division manager and mechanical coordinator
• Collaborate with in-house fabrication and machining project managers for turn-key proposals
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits, as necessary

• Ability to estimate construction projects ranging up to $2M, minimum 3 years of experience (piping systems for the following markets including, but not limited to: industrial, pharmaceutical, chemical, food processes, schools, hospitals, office buildings, commercial, and municipal)
• Experience with Microsoft Office products
• Ability to gather and analyze data, define problems, and make sound decisions
• Ability to prioritize, organize, and work well under pressure
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to meet tight deadlines
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Work independently, as well as with a team
