The successful candidate:
Sign-on bonus of $7500
Hours: Monday - Friday with rotating weekend on-call shifts (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM / 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM)
Job SummaryThe Registered Dietitian (RD) is responsible for assessing nutritional status and providing appropriate medical nutrition therapy (MNT) and education to improve, maintain, or optimize nutritional status. Approximately 75% of the time will be spent in direct patient care in an outpatient setting.
Key Responsibilities- Assess nutritional status of patients.
- Provide medical nutrition therapy (MNT) and education.
- Develop and implement nutrition care plans.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care.
- Education: Advanced degree in the field of nutrition (Preferred).
- Experience: 0-3 years of clinical nutrition experience.
- Licensure:
- Registered Dietitian (RD).
- State Licensure – May begin employment while applying for licensure and work for up to 6 months with supervision while the license application process is pending.
- Certifications:
- Ongoing maintenance of Continuing Education Units (CEU).
- CPR/First Aid certified (Preferred).
- Certified Specialist in Oncology (CSO) (Preferred).
