Assistant Manager, Music Education

Bach To Rock  is a family-owned, growing enterprise focused on the business of Music Education. We are looking for an Assistant Manager
- Music Education to support the Site Director in the daily operations and responsibilities of the school.

Responsibilities:

• Run the day-to-day music education operations of the school.
• Supervise arrival and departure of students.
• Provide support to instructors as needed for teaching activities.
• Maintain complex schedules of classes, staff, and students.
• Administer daily enrollment, scheduling, retail sales, and billing adjustments.
• Assist with inventory control to ensure appropriate stock levels.
• Ensure cleanliness of facility.
• Responsible for timely opening and closing of the school, in conjunction with other management.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Greet customers and students in a personable and courteous manner.
• Proactively communicate operational information with customers.
• Foster a positive environment where people feel welcome, acknowledged, appreciated, and want to ‘hang out’.
• Support the expansion of the Music Education Business.
• Warmly greet prospective customers on the phone and in person.
• Give facility tours.
• Explain the Bach To Rock  philosophy and method to prospective customers.
• Stay up to date on continually updating B2R curriculum.
• Follow up with prospective customers in person and over the phone.
• Support external marketing events.
• Assist with student recruitment and retention of private lessons, bands, classes, and camps.
• Teach private lessons and group classes, as needed and approved by Site Director.

Knowledge and Abilities:

• Computer literate (Microsoft office).
• Can solve logistical challenges.
• Effective time-management and organizational skill.
• Ability to juggle multiple responsibilities at one time.
• Great attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment.
• Can work the hours required.

Education/

Work Experience:

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• Business management and/or retail sales experience is preferred but not required.
