TheOpportunity
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Product Manager - Bio Pharma to lead the Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy and market penetration of our reagent portfolio essential for mRNA drug and vaccine manufacturing. This portfolio includes critical components such as nucleotides, polymerases, and capping enzymes used in In Vitro Transcription (IVT). The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in life sciences, combined with proven product management skills to succeed in the dynamic US pharma and biotech market.

The PM will be responsible for the product management and strategic marketing for the mRNA reagent portfolio, focusing on the following areas:
Product Management & CollaborationCollaborate with global and regional representatives to establish optimal pricing, product strategy, and messaging that resonates with the target audience.
Work effectively with internal teams (Regional Sales, & global IPMs) to manage and resolve product issues swiftly and effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Stay current on mRNA manufacturing trends and utilize Voice of Customer (VoC) insights to design product growth strategies and marketing activity plans.
Lead the execution and ROI tracking of the marketing activities for mRNA portfolio.
Track product sales, customer purchase behavior, and campaign ROI to evaluate and optimize marketing and sales strategies.
Prepare and deliver sales training on the market, underlying technology (IVT/mRNA process), and product features and benefits.
Collaborate with sales and participate in sales meetings as a product expert for supporting high-value sales opportunities.
Work closely with the sales team to understand their needs, key account challenges, and direct customer needs and pain points to provide recommendations for new product planning.
Remain adaptable by developing new skills and taking on additional responsibilities under the direction of the marketing leader.
You hold a Bachelor's degree in a life science discipline (e.g. Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology).
You hold 5 or more years of experience in Product Management, Development or Marketing, related commercial role within the Diagnostics, pharmaceutical, or biotech industry.
Master's or Ph.D. is preferred.
Demonstrable technical understanding of the biologics or mRNA therapy development mRNA drug manufacturing process.
Product management experience demonstrating strong scientific foundation.
Experience with running training to customers or sales teams etc. is highly valuable.
Highly organized and strategic with the ability to manage multiple projects, and set priorities.
Collaborative team player with interpersonal and leadership skills.
This position is based onsite in our Indianapolis campus (3x per week minimum in office).
No relocation benefits are provided for this role.
The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indiana is $101,700 - $188,900.
