About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and accurately processing transactions at the point of sale. Your primary goal will be to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty by delivering prompt and courteous service. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized checkout area, handling cash and credit card transactions, and resolving customer issues as needed.

This role requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a customer service or cash handling role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends

• Experience with point-of-sale systems and cash registers
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively with others

• Greet customers as they approach the checkout area and process transactions accurately and efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment and surfaces
• Handle cash and credit card transactions, including making change and processing refunds
• Resolve customer issues and complaints in a timely and professional manner
• Assist with inventory management and restocking merchandise as needed

As a Cashier, you will use your strong communication and interpersonal skills to provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer issues. You will also use your attention to detail and accuracy to process transactions and maintain a clean and organized checkout area. Additionally, you will use your flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle a variety of tasks.
