Maintenance Manager Job Zoetermeer area,South Holland Netherlands,Engineering

Logoplaste is looking for a Maintenance Manager for our plant in Zoetermeer. In this role you will manage the engineering team and liaise directly with the Plant Manager. The position requires excellent management and communication skills. You will be responsible for the continuous improvement of production lines and related equipment to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency. In this role, you will work closely with the entire production team.

Tasks & Responsibilities

Directing the engineering team.

Working closely with Shift Leaders and assisting in overseeing all technical aspects, including:

Efficiency of the machines;

Quality of bottles;

Providing a safe working environment;

Liaising with suppliers;

Provide training to Machine Operators.

Daily monitoring of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Make recommendations to efficiently correct quality, safety, and production problems.

Forecasts on budget and develop strategies for continuous improvement based on these forecasts.

Develop and implement maintenance standards.

Manage preventive maintenance performance and repair of production equipment.

Maintain and improve database systems.

Coordinate the inventory of the technical service warehouse.

What we are looking for…

Background and experience

You completed an MBO level 4 education in engineering (Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar).

A Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.

Knowledge of a production environment.

Hands-on mentality and closely involved with the work floor.

Technical skills

Technical insight (mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical engineering).

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Knowledge of SAP is an advantage.

Good command of both the Dutch and English language in word and writing is essential.

Full-time (40 hours per week) in day shifts.
