Technical Manager | Infra

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Technical Manager Infra to join our client, Yunex Traffic, based in Zoetermeer.

In this role, you act as the linchpin of our engineering team. You will provide direct leadership to a group of Lead Engineers, who in turn manage various specialized engineering teams. You will operate within a dynamic environment, leading a professional team that scales between 8 and 20 experts depending on the project phase.

You aren't just responsible for the technical output; you are primarily responsible for the people. We are looking for a true "people person" who understands that a successful project is built on a foundation of good atmosphere and seamless collaboration—both internally and with the client.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver the full technical design in close alignment with client requirements.

• Ensure various technical disciplines (Software, Hardware, Systems) work together seamlessly to create a total solution.

• Oversee the Systems Engineering process, including Requirement Management and Verification & Validation (V&V).

• Partner with the Project Manager and Project Controller to monitor scope, budget, and timelines.

• Create an inspiring work environment where every team member can perform at their best.

• Education:
  
  A completed Bachelor’s (HBO) or Master’s (WO) degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, or a related technical field.

• Experience:
  
  Extensive experience in an engineering environment, with at least 5 years specifically in Technical Project Management.

• Methodology:
  Strong knowledge of Systems Engineering methodologies is highly desirable.

• Leadership: A natural ability to connect people with tasks and bridge the gap between different departments.

• Languages:
  
  Proficiency in both Dutch and English at a minimum B2 level.

• Coaching Leadership:
  You don't just manage; you develop your Lead Engineers and foster a growth mindset.

• Stakeholder Management:
  You can translate complex technical challenges into clear language for the client and project stakeholders.

• Analytical Thinking:
  You maintain a "helicopter view" of the project's technical integrity while ensuring requirements are met.

  Time, Scope, and Budget.
