Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer

You will be responsible for managing all technical aspects related to a variety of rotating equipment, including pumps, fans, compressors, and turbines. Working closely with process engineers, you will guide the selection, specification, and evaluation of machinery, ensuring compliance with international standards and project requirements.

Beyond design, you’ll coordinate with multiple disciplines—Process, Electrical, Instrumentation, Piping, Civil, and more—to resolve technical challenges and streamline integration. You will review vendor documentation, assess proposals, and support quality inspections, all while upholding rigorous safety and cost-efficiency standards.

This role also provides the opportunity to influence internal engineering standards and mentor colleagues by sharing lessons learned and best practices. Whether you’re supporting ongoing proposals or involved in site inspections, your contribution will be vital to the successful delivery of high-value projects.

What do you need

BSc in Mechanical Engineering

5-8 years of experience in a similar role

Strong knowledge of rotating equipment types and applications (e.g., pumps, fans, compressors, turbines)

Familiar with international standards such as API 560, API 516, API 610, API 618, API 673, ASTM, ISO, Euronorm, PED

Experience with technical specifications, data sheets, vendor selection, and bid evaluations

Skilled in using vendor software for preliminary equipment selection

Strong coordination and communication skills for multidisciplinary collaboration

High attention to HSE standards and quality control

Understanding of requisition workflows and documentation processes
