Role
At Siegfried we’re looking for a Process Manager Production (m/f/d) for our Process Management Production department, based in Zofingen, starting immediately or by agreement. In this exciting and varied role, you will be responsible for and optimize the chemical and physical processes of the assigned overall product portfolio involving multi‑step syntheses. As a member of the Product Leadership Team (PLT), you will be responsible for the seamless introduction of development projects or customer processes into commercial production operations.
For commercialized products, you will lead the PLT and actively drive continuous process improvement. In doing so, you will serve as the communication interface to our customers for all operational matters.
- Implement, support and optimise existing and new production processes with regard to cycle time, yield and costs while complying with cGMP guidelines.
- Assess new processes and technologies for feasibility and suitability in chemical manufacturing facilities.
- Support, monitor and evaluate product campaigns, including defining improvement and process optimisation measures.
- Own process and procedure documentation, material balances and SAP manufacturing recipes.
- Act as process lead / process owner in investment projects.
- Share responsibility for planning, implementing and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements relating to cGMP, SHE, authorities, etc. for your products.
- Completed university degree (University of Applied Sciences, ETH or university) in Chemistry, with a focus on Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry or Organic Chemistry.
- Professional experience in chemical or pharmaceutical production or in a pilot plant; experience in a cGMP environment is an advantage.
- Minimum 3years of experience in a similar function.
- Business‑fluent German and English, both written and spoken.
