Accounts Payable Accountant

The Scenic Group is a leading luxury global travel company with offices around the world. It has grown over its 40‑year history to include all‑inclusive escorted tours; two award‑winning river cruise lines – Scenic and Emerald Cruises; and in 2019, the World’s First Discovery Yacht – Scenic Eclipse.

Accounts Payable Accountant (m/f) – 100% full time

Initially on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. Subject to suitability and mutual interest, there is the option of continued employment.

• Accounts payable for Ocean & River Cruises
• Reconciliation of vendor statements
• Review & follow‑up of Accounts Payable Aging Reports
• Responsible for Credit Card and Expense reports
• Monitoring of bank transactions
• Support in cost controlling and margin analysis
• Prepare documents for external auditors
• Ad‑hoc inquiries and projects

• Completed degree in accounting and/or commercial degree
• At least 3 years of experience in accounting positions
• Experienced working in a similar role, preferably in a multinational environment
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs
• Experience in Net Suite is a plus
• Fluent in English (German is a plus)
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Willing to take ownership, hands‑on, persistent, meet deadlines, team‑oriented personality
