Lead Accountant

In this role you'll own the statutory accounting of the Swiss holding structure under the Swiss Code of Obligations (OR), technical and varied work spanning OR-driven reporting, VAT and tax, and the accounting behind M&A and IP-related transactions. US GAAP exposure is a genuine plus, but Swiss OR expertise is what this role is built on.

You'll work closely with an international team across LATAM and the US, in a hands-on role for someone who genuinely loves accounting and wants to help shape the function.

• Own statutory accounting for the Swiss holding entities under Swiss OR
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closings for the Swiss entities
• Prepare statutory financial statements and group reporting packages, bridging to US GAAP where required
• Manage Swiss VAT, corporate tax, and withholding tax obligations, including related returns and filings
• Coordinate external and internal audits, and strengthen internal controls in line with SOX requirements
• Act as a genuine finance partner to teams in Switzerland and across the wider organization in LATAM and the US

• Deep, hands-on expertise in Swiss OR
• Swiss Certified Public Accountant or Treuhand (Swiss Certified Fiduciary) qualification
• Native or fluent German, and fluent English
• Comfortable representing a Swiss domicile with external auditors and authorities
• Several years of relevant accounting experience in local international structure
• Proficiency with ERP and Microsoft excel

• Experience from a treuhand, audit, or holding company background
• Proficiency with SAP S/4
