We are currently looking for a Project Manager to work on a project for a client in Switzerland. The client is beginning preparations for a large EPC project involving biomass gasification.

They require a Project Manager who can manage the front‑end engineer / project development phase of the project.

The project is for 3 months to start with but if they win the next phase of the project then you would be required to manage the procurement, construction and commissioning phases.

START: ASAP

DURATION:
Initial 3 month contract

10‑15+ Years Project Manager experience in any process plant industry.

Engineering or Construction background, experience working on large CAPEX projects over 10 m€.

Experience working specifically in the front‑end engineering / project development phase, however experience with full project life cycles is beneficial.

Ability to work with local authorities and major stakeholders to negotiate contracts, and use these contracts to select and negotiate with suppliers.

Ability to select, negotiate and manage subcontracts.

Ability to coordinate an organized project execution with multiple suppliers on site at any given time.

German speaking is highly preferred.
