Cost Engineer

• Analyze supplier quotations and compare costs against market benchmarks.
• Perform should-cost, target costing, and value engineering analyses.
• Evaluate manufacturing processes, materials, and design alternatives to identify cost optimization opportunities.
• Prepare cost comparisons, business cases, and sourcing recommendations.
• Support supplier negotiations with fact-based cost analyses.
• Develop, maintain, and improve cost models and cost databases.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Engineering, Supplier Quality, and Finance on cost optimization initiatives.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 2-3+ years of experience in Purchasing, Cost Engineering, Manufacturing, Supplier Quality, Product Development, or a related area.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an interest in manufacturing technologies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with costing software is an advantage.
• Good communication and collaboration skills in a cross-functional environment.
• Ability to analyze data and support data-driven decision-making.
• Fluent in English;
  Croatian language skills are considered an advantage.
