As a Power Trader, you will play a key role in trading and optimising European power markets within a leading international energy trading organisation. You’ll operate in a sophisticated, well‑capitalised trading environment with access to strong market insight, advanced infrastructure, and meaningful risk limits.

• Trade European power markets across forwards and structured positions, managing risk and exposure across the curve.
• Develop and execute trading strategies across short, medium, and long‑term horizons.
• Analyse power market fundamentals including supply and demand, generation mix, interconnectors, fuel spreads, weather, and regulatory developments.
• Identify regional, structural, and relative value opportunities across European markets.
• Actively manage positions, PnL, and portfolio risk within established frameworks.
• Work closely with origination, analytics, and risk teams to optimise market opportunities.
• Contribute to market discussion and continuous improvement of trading strategies.

• Proven experience trading European power markets within a trading house, utility, or fund.
• Strong understanding of European power fundamentals and forward curve dynamics.
• Demonstrated ability to generate and manage PnL responsibly.
• Strong analytical and commercial mindset with the ability to take and manage risk.
• Comfortable operating in a high‑performance, professional trading environment.
• Clear communicator with the confidence to engage at desk and management level.
