In order to foster this continuous expansion, we are looking for an experienced Renewable Certificates Trader to join our Environmental Trading team in Zug and play a key role in growing our presence across European and UK environmental markets.

As a Renewable Certificates Trader, you will be responsible for generating risk-adjusted revenues within a defined trading mandate and risk framework. You will actively trade European and UK renewable certificates while identifying market opportunities, developing trading strategies, and providing market insights.

• Trading renewable certificates and environmental products across European and international markets
• Developing and executing trading strategies based on market fundamentals and supply-demand dynamics
• Participating in spot auctions and market RFQs
• Monitoring regulatory developments and energy transition mechanisms across Europe and the UK
• Collaborating closely with analysts, traders, and risk teams
• Managing market risk in line with internal frameworks and regulatory requirements
• Contributing to market intelligence, data quality, and trading infrastructure improvements

• Proven and successful track record in proprietary trading with direct P&L ownership
• 5+ years of trading experience (no-sales trading)
• Deep fundamental knowledge of EU/UK environmental markets and driven energy markets
• Excellent understanding of local/ global supply & demand, and macro-economic and energy transition drivers of the wider, illiquid energy markets
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree
• Experience with Bloomberg, Refinitiv, Trayport, and Microsoft Office tools
• Coding skills under Python are an advantage
