Job Description
Johnson & Johnson Health Care Systems Inc. (JJHCS), a member of the Johnson & Johnson family, is recruiting a Business Unit Integration Operations Lead – Surgery. The role may be located at U.S. sites (NJ, PA, CA, FL, TX, or Guaynabo Puerto Rico), Zug, Switzerland, or São Paulo, Brazil. Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with internal & external partners (Distribution, Source, Planning, Manufacturing, Transportation) to align performance objectives and metrics such as cost improvement, OTIF-D, freight spend performance, and lead‑time performance.
- Oversee implementation and status of critical global Deliver and Surgery projects focused on reliability and cost improvements.
- Lead or co‑lead initiatives requiring PMO, Source, Planning, Manufacturing, and Transportation collaboration for efficient project execution (e.g., DC to DC, direct ship, freight analytics, shipping optimization).
- Assist in developing transportation budgets and operational forecasts for Global Surgery; lead freight spend review meetings and expedite freight governance process.
- Support integration and maturity of Deliver into E2E supply‑chain processes (S&OP, NPI, LRFP, BP, Value Stream Management, OTIF‑D).
- Support Business Unit Integration initiatives and business performance for the Med Tech Deliver organization, including issue management and escalation.
- Leverage analytical tools to profile lanes and identify CIP opportunities.
- Manage global Deliver monthly scorecard process and support content creation for various Surgery leadership reviews (E2E platform reviews, franchise reviews).
- Manage the Deliver NPI global visibility tool/process for Surgery, collaborating with regions on pipeline visibility to ensure timely completion of Deliver data, milestones, and readiness criteria for product launches.
- Represent Global Deliver on various Surgery Platform value streams as the organization rolls‑out VSM for key products; represent on Surgery E2E platform Supply Chain teams (Wound Closure, Endo‑Mechanical, Energy and Bio‑Surgery).
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (focused in Supply Chain, Engineering or related field preferred).
- At least 4 years of relevant professional experience in Supply Chain functions such as Transportation, Distribution, Planning, Procurement, or Manufacturing.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities, work independently, and deliver business results.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience supporting cross‑functional projects and creating executive and operational presentations.
- Strong attention to detail, high level of organization.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent organizational, time‑management and project planning skills; ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Experience in the medical device industry.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
- Certificates in Lean or Six Sigma.
- Experience in project management.
May require up to 10% domestic and/or international travel to other locations and sites.
