EMEA Recruitment has been exclusively appointed to secure a Senior Sourcing Analyst on behalf of a leading global consumer goods brand
. Based at their strategic sourcing hub in Zug
, Switzerland, this role is a critical position blending strategic sourcing support with day-to-day operational execution across high-spend Chemical Specialties, Oleochemicals, and Fragrance categories.
- Operational & Sourcing Execution: Support sourcing strategy execution by negotiating supplier quotes and agreements under compressed timelines, ensuring continuity from decision to order placement.
- Purchase Order Lifecycle: Manage the end-to-end PO lifecycle, including creation, meticulous tracking, maintenance, and system alignment to guarantee on-time delivery.
- Financial Reconciliation: Partner closely with vendors, Accounts Payable/Receivable, and Finance teams to proactively resolve invoicing, pricing, and delivery discrepancies
- Data Integrity & Systems: Maintain absolute data integrity across enterprise systems, including price updates, contract terms, and order accuracy.
- Supply Chain Mitigation: Monitor and resolve supply chain and order management issues proactively to minimize any potential disruption to the business.
- Cross-Functional Partnering: Collaborate across global workflows to support speed-to-market, supply assurance, and continuous category performance improvement.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in an operational procurement, sourcing, or supply chain role.
- Supply Chain Footprint: Strong preference for professionals who have direct experience working within or interfacing with a North American-based supply chain.
- Core Capabilities: Proven track record in managing purchase orders, quote analysis, contract coordination, and high-volume data verification with precision.
- Technical
Skills:
High proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Excel is required. - Sector Exposure: Experience in consumer goods, manufacturing, or supply chain environments is preferred; exposure to chemical formulations, ingredients, or raw material sourcing is a distinct plus.
- Mindset: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of shifting seamlessly between urgent supplier negotiations and transactional execution.
