, we are looking for an experienced and highly capable professional to join the team as

In this role, you will take ownership of the day-to-day execution of our dry bulk voyages, working closely with our Freight, Chartering and Commodity teams as well as shipowners, brokers, agents, terminals and other counter parties worldwide.

Our activities cover a broad range of dry bulk commodities, including iron ore, coal, grains and other bulk cargoes
.

The Role

You will be responsible for the smooth and commercially efficient execution of voyages from fixture through to final settlement.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Manage and coordinate dry bulk voyages from fixture to completion
• Monitor vessel positions, laycans, cargo readiness, ETA/ETD and port operations
• Maintain close communication with owners, charterers, masters, brokers, agents, terminals and other counter parties
• Issue voyage and operational instructions and ensure timely flow of information between all parties
• Coordinate loading and discharge operations and proactively manage delays or operational issues
• Review Charter Party terms and ensure voyages are performed in accordance with contractual requirements
• Review and coordinate Bills of Lading, Notices of Readiness, Statements of Facts and other shipping documentation
• Monitor bunker requirements, consumption and voyage-related costs
• Review port disbursements, freight, hire and other voyage expenses
• Prepare and review laytime calculations, including demurrage and despatch
• Identify potential operational and contractual exposures and manage claims in coordination with the relevant internal and external parties
• Maintain accurate voyage data and ensure timely voyage accounting and settlement
• Work closely with Freight/Chartering, Commodity Operations, Finance and other internal functions
• Continuously look for opportunities to improve voyage performance and reduce operational costs

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who combines strong operational knowledge with a commercial mindset
.

you bring:

• 6 - 10 years of relevant experience in dry bulk freight operations
  , gained within a commodity trading house, ship operator, charterer or shipowner
• Solid understanding of dry bulk shipping and voyage execution
• Experience with commodities such as iron ore, coal, grains or similar bulk cargoes
• Good working knowledge of Charter Parties and shipping documentation
• Practical experience with laytime, demurrage and despatch calculations
• Strong understanding of voyage economics and the commercial impact of operational decisions
