Purpose:As the Downstream Marketing Director EMEA, you will drive the marketing strategy, and execution for the vVardis portfolio in the EMEA region. Reporting to the Head of Global Marketing and Product Management, and dotted line to the Head of EMEA, you will be responsible to develop and implement the strategy and plans around marketing communication, product marketing, and go‑to‑market to unlock the potential, growth, and profitability of the portfolio, services, and solutions.
You will be at the heart of the commercialization efforts along with Sales, Training & Education, Clinical Education, and Global Communication and brand team. You will own and coordinate all the customer journey activities while working closely with all functions, especially the Marketing Communication and Brand team to ensure the Voice of the Market is heard. You will drive collaboration cross‑functionally with a team of experienced colleagues from the EMEA and Global teams.
As you will be the first member of the EMEA marketing team, the role is highly hands‑on. And you will have the opportunity to build the EMEA Marketing team as business grows.
- Develop and communicate a clear marketing communication and product marketing strategy for the region, spanning portfolio, product, promotion, go‑to‑market, partnership, events, PR, digital/print campaigns, etc.
- Create and implement customer journeys and business models to lower barriers to entry and drive market penetration, product utilization
- Build and lead cross‑functional team to develop a strong customer journey
- Manage events for the region with the support of Global and local teams.
- Build the EMEA marketing organization as business expands.
- Help drive commercialization efforts by working closely with the EMEA leadership teams.
- Work closely with the Brand and Communication team as your “internal service provider” to develop value propositions, campaigns, web/social content and selling tools
- Lead new product launches within the region.
- Lead and manage voice of customer (VOC) and voice of market (VOM) activities.
- Work closely with upstream product management teams to bring voice of customer and voice of market into the product, solution, workflow vision and roadmaps.
- Utilize data and analytics to build strong product marketing strategies, identify market opportunities, and measure performance.
- Develop metrics and KPIs to measure the impact of marketing initiatives and prioritize accordingly.
- Develop and maintain domain expertise on new technologies, competition.
- Dental experience is a must. At least 10 years.
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in life sciences, engineering or business.
- Minimum 15 years total professional work experience.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience and proven success in downstream marketing roles.
- Experience in upstream marketing is a plus.
