Duration: 12 months (extension possible)
We are recruiting for a leading Swiss Life Science client looking for a Software Engineer to strengthen a specialised team building hardware simulation and test automation solutions for medical instruments.
What you’ll do- Develop and maintain C++-based simulation software in an agile team
- Contribute to a shared simulation platform used across multiple instrument projects
- Improve software architecture, performance, and tooling
- Collaborate closely with internal software development teams
- Degree in Software Engineering or similar
- Strong experience with modern C++ (C++17+)
- Experience with Git and collaboration tools (Git Lab/Git Hub/Azure Dev Ops)
- Experience with Docker / containers and shell scripting
- Knowledge of Rust is an advantage
- CI/CD (ideally Git Lab CI)
- Multi-threaded / multi-process application experience
