Lead Auditor, Private Banking

Responsibilities

• Providing independent and objective assurance to senior management and the Head of Group Internal Audit
• Planning and conducting independent and objective internal audits within the Asset & Wealth Management division
• Assessing the design and operational effectiveness of controls, identifying risks and evaluating findings
• Supporting forensic audits to identify potential irregularities, control gaps or compliance risks
• Carrying out quality controls on key operational processes and internal controls
  
  Monitoring the implementation of measures
• Reviewing governance and supervisory structures to ensure compliance with internal standards
• Preparing audit documentation, recording findings and contributing to audit reports and recommendations
• Participating in special investigations and projects
• Acting as a sparring partner for management

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting, Finance or Economics
• CPA or CIA certification and familiarity with the regulatory framework
• Strong work ethic
• Professional experience at an international bank in the field of internal audit or at a leading audit firm, with experience as an assistant manager or manager in the field of banking audit
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and concepts and internal controls, as well as experience in conducting audits and leading audit teams
• Strong analytical skills combined with a team- and service-oriented approach
• Hands-on approach and an interest in working on complex international audit projects
• Attention to detail and the ability to assess issues and communicate professionally when working under time pressure
• Structured, independent working style
• IT skills, particularly in the use of banking software and Microsoft Office
• German and English
