The European Alliance of Associations for Rheumatology (EULAR) is the organisation representing people with rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases, health professionals, and scientific rheumatology societies across Europe. EULAR is a non-profit scientific and educational association recognised under Swiss law. Each year, it hosts a congress with approximately 14,000 delegates (congress.eular.org) and organises a wide variety of smaller events throughout the year.

We are looking for a proactive and well-organised Project Assistant to support our daily operations and work closely with the Quality of Care (QoC) and Publications teams, ensuring efficient project coordination and office management. This position is available for an immediate start or at the earliest possible starting date.

Your key tasks
  • Assist with general administrative tasks within the QoC Department and EULAR Journals
  • Support ongoing and new projects, including administration and data management
  • Assist with manuscripts, publications, and submission tracking
  • Organise and support meetings, webinars, and other event.
  • Assist with QoC communication activities, including content creation for newsletters in close collaboration with the EULAR Communications Team
  • Assist with the maintenance of digital platforms and content, such as myEULAR / EULAR Journals
  • Ensure smooth communication between all internal and external stakeholders
Your profile
  • Completed higher education (e.g. a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Communication, or Business Administration) with at least 2-3 years of relevant professional experience
  • Understanding of project lifecycle processes or experience supporting smaller projects
  • Experience in a European non-profit organisation is an advantage
  • Proficiency in common IT applications, including Microsoft Office, and the ability to adapt quickly to new tools
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal; additional languages are an advantage
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with a high level of attention to detail
  • A collaborative team player with an interest in working in a multicultural, diverse environment
  • Willingness to travel occasionally, both nationally and internationally
