As a Senior Market Analyst within Project Suisen you will play a key role in supporting the transformation of Hitachi Energy’s global Marketing & Sales (M&S) function. This role is central to shaping our go-to-market strategy providing data-driven insights and enabling strategic decision-making across Business Units, Product Groups, Product Lines, Market Segments & Subsegments, Regions, and Countries.

Collaborate closely with workstream leaders and senior stakeholders to analyze market trends, evaluate commercial performance, and identify opportunities for growth and optimization. This is a high-impact role for a strategic thinker with strong analytical capabilities and a passion for driving transformation in a global matrixed environment.

This position offers flexibility and can be based anywhere in Europe.

• Deliver high-quality market and business analysis to support the development and execution of go-to-market strategies
• Monitor project progress and synthesize insights to inform leadership decisions within the M&S and other functions
• Analyze financial, sales, and customer data to assess the effectiveness of marketing and commercial initiatives
• Prepare strategic presentations, dashboards, and meeting materials for senior leadership ensuring clarity and alignment with project goals
• Collaborate with M&S community (Global Industry Network Leaders, Regional Market Development Managers, HBU Market Managers, etc.) and the Portfolio teams across the BUs to ensure consistent communication and alignment
• Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying process gaps and supporting the development of scalable solutions

• A university degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
• Proven experience in market analysis, commercial strategy, or business intelligence ideally within the energy sector and a global matrix organization
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
• Proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel)
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and present findings clearly and persuasively
• A proactive, self-driven mindset with a passion for strategic transformation and operational excellence
