Job Description & How to Apply Below
Location: Zürich

Flowable is a leading provider of intelligent process and case automation, trusted by global enterprises to run mission-critical operations. With our Agentic Case Platform, we orchestrate people, systems, and AI to deliver business outcomes with more speed and agility.

We are looking for a Product Demo Engineer to turn new product capabilities into compelling stories, working demonstrations, and practical use cases.

This is a Product Management role, not a Marketing role. You sit within Product Management and work hand in hand with Engineering, Product Managers, the Product Marketing & Analyst Relations Manager, and Sales; but your primary responsibility is to ensure new capabilities are validated, demonstrable, and ready for the market. By building real showcase use cases early (often long before general availability) you help uncover gaps, improve product readiness, and equip customers, analysts, sales, and the wider company with a clear understanding of why new capabilities matter.

You are the trusted source of truth for how new capabilities work, why they matter, and how they should be demonstrated.

Responsibilities
  • Build working demos of new features. Turn shipped and near-shipped capabilities into credible, hands-on demonstrations that showcase real value and stand up to scrutiny, using AI tooling to move quickly.
  • Validate features before GA. Build showcase use cases early, exercise features end-to-end from a real user's perspective, and provide actionable feedback to Product Managers and Engineering while there is still time to improve the experience.
  • Create feature storytelling and enable the teams that use it
. Develop the demo scripts, example use cases, walkthroughs, and product narratives for every new capability, and give Sales and internal teams the assets and guidance they need to present those capabilities accurately and confidently.
  • Create and enable feature storytelling. For every new capability, develop the demo scripts, example use cases, walkthroughs, and product narratives that help others communicate its value effectively.
  • Prepare the product substance for analyst briefings. Create demonstrations and product-focused briefing material for analyst conversations, working closely with the Product Marketing & Analyst Relations Manager, who owns the analyst relationship and engagement.
  • Prepare and deliver webinars. Own the product content, demonstrations, and presentation of internal and external webinars. Marketing owns promotion, registration, and follow-up; you own what is shown and the story that carries it.
  • Own Flowable's demo portfolio. Maintain and continuously improve a set of polished, reusable demonstrations covering Flowable's key value propositions, ensuring they evolve alongside the product.
  • Drive product feedback loops. Gather feedback from customers, prospects, analysts, and internal stakeholders through demos, webinars, and briefings, and channel actionable insights back to Product Management and Engineering.
Qualifications
  • 3-4+ years of experience in a technical, product-facing role such as Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Technical Product Management, Developer Advocacy, Technical Product Marketing, or a similar role.
  • A strong technical foundation. Preferably a Bachelor's or Master's degree in business informatics, computer science, or comparable education/experience
  • Experience demonstrating enterprise software to customers, prospects, partners, analysts, or internal audiences.
  • Enough technical depth to build credible demonstrations of a complex enterprise platform without needing them built for you.
  • A strong ability to tell a product story and translate technical capabilities into business value for different audiences.
  • The ability to learn complex products quickly and recognize when a feature is not yet ready to be presented as a compelling customer solution.
  • Solid hands-on experience with AI tools and a thoughtful, critical approach to using them, both to accelerate your work and to evaluate AI-powered product capabilities.
  • Enthusiasm for Business Process Automation and a strong interest in working closely with Engineering and Product teams.
  • Confidence presenting live to audiences, including webinars, analyst briefings, product launches, customer meetings, and internal enablement sessions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. German is a plus.
What defines you
  • You take initiative and naturally turn new capabilities into compelling demonstrations without waiting for…
