As part of our continued growth in Switzerland, we are looking for an experienced Site Manager / Construction Manager to join our team and lead the successful delivery of complex construction and fit-out projects. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile office, life sciences, and high-tech projects in a dynamic international environment.
- Independently manage and coordinate renovation and construction projects on site.
- Plan, monitor, and control all construction activities, ensuring compliance with project schedules, quality standards, budgets, and health & safety regulations.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with project plans, technical specifications, and client requirements.
- Monitor project progress and proactively identify and resolve technical and organizational challenges.
- Lead site meetings and provide regular progress reports to project management and clients.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Support commissioning, inspections, final acceptance, and successful project handover.
- Degree or technical qualification in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Building Services Engineering, or a related field.
- Several years of professional experience as a Site Manager, Construction Manager, or Bauleiter in Switzerland (
mandatory
). - Proven experience managing complex interior fit-out, office, life sciences, or high-tech construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of schedule, quality, and cost management.
- Experience working with international clients and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working.
- Strong communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
- Fluent German and English, both written and spoken.
- Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Team-oriented, flexible, and resilient, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in an international environment.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Proficient in MS Office and common project management tools.
