Your RoleHi there. Janine here. I know, this is unconventional… I’m deviating from the regular job description script. Why? Because this role is different. The starting point for this role is different, and we want to communicate that clearly and transparently so we find our perfect match.
If you go onto our website and think, “This looks great”, we are not for you.
If you go onto our website and think, “Amazing opportunity for a rebrand to put my mark on this brand”, we are also not for you.
Because here’s the truth:
For the past year, we’ve worked on the fundamentals of our brand: from our brand identity (mission, vision, values, brand associations) to our tone of voice. From that, we’ve built a really strong visual foundation that we believe in long term. And now, we’re at a place where we’re looking to slowly build up in‑house design, and we need someone who can put the brand before personal signature, buy into the new visual identity, execute on it with care, and then, over the years, shape its trajectory and help develop it further.
No rebrand. No reset. Continuous improvement.

Now that that’s settled, here’s some more info on the role:
Our aim to revolutionise the employee insurance industry should shine through at every touchpoint. And for that, we need you. This role is paramount to the success of our team and our brand. We want to get it right.
You will breathe life into our brand with your design skills and branding expertise, ensuring we deliver high‑quality design solutions that connect with our audience, feel distinctly human, and feel distinctly us. You are equally skilled in creative direction and creative execution, taking ownership and occasionally working with freelancers to speed up the process.
To do that, you will put yourself in the shoes of many different stakeholders and work closely with our brand and marketing team to shape the grape story going forward.
The team, you ask?
At this stage of growth, most of us are generalists wearing many different hats each day. Outside of work, you might find us boating on the lake, snowboarding in Arosa, hiking in Appenzell, playing dress‑up with our kids, or looking out the window in a classroom in Bern.
A bunch of wonderful human beings, skilled in many different things in life. Each one is equally important in building this brand step by step, day by day.
What You’ll Do- Execute on our new visual identity and help shape our brand guidelines going forward.
- Lead design projects from concept through delivery.
- Bring your creative expertise and know‑how to campaign planning just as much as to execution.
- Design and create digital and physical collateral for brand and marketing initiatives.
- Review design work from external partners to ensure high quality and brand consistency.
