Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled Automation Engineer to join our Swiss team and contribute to high-tech projects in the medical field. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience programming automation systems, particularly Rockwell and / or Siemens PLCs, and is passionate about advancing life sciences through innovative engineering solutions.
Your Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize automation solutions for systems used in Pharma, Med Tech, Biotech, or Medical Devices
- Program and troubleshoot Rockwell (Allen-Bradley) and / or Siemens PLCs and HMI systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including process, validation, and quality engineers
- Support installation, commissioning, and qualification of automated systems
- Maintain documentation in compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements
- Contribute to continuous improvement and digitalization initiative
Your Profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial automation, ideally in regulated environments (pharma, biotech, Med Tech, or medical devices)
- Strong programming skills in Rockwell (Allen-Bradley) and / or Siemens PLCs
- Experience in GMP-compliant environments and system validation is a strong asset
- Project management experience is a plus
- Knowledge of or interest in robotics is a plus
- Fluent in English,German and / or French is an advantage
- Willingness to travel within Switzerland for on-site project support
