Experienced Field Service Technician

As a Field Service Technician you perform repairs, troubleshoot technical issues, analyze field failures, and provide hands-on support to ensure reliable operation of bushings in the field. You work closely with internal teams, share your practical expertise, and contribute to the continuous improvement of products and processes.

How you’ll make an impact

Perform on-site repairs and service of bushings, ensuring prompt and professional issue resolution

Carry out in-house repairs of returned products and handle non-conformance cases from production

Support failure investigations, including dissection, root cause analysis, and technical reporting

Provide technical support and training to customers on equipment handling and basic maintenance

Lead or support small improvement projects to enhance quality, processes, and service efficiency

Create service documentation, including work reports, used materials, and repair outcomes

Follow safety standards and company procedures at all times during field and workshop activities

Collaborate with engineering, quality, and sales teams to resolve escalated technical problems

Your background

Completed technical apprenticeship or degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience

Minimum 3 years of field service or technical repair experience, ideally in industrial environments

Ability to read technical drawings and schematics confidently

Strong mechanical skills and proficiency with hand and power tools

Strong analytical and troubleshooting ability to solve complex technical issues

Customer-focused communicator, fluent in German and English

Independent, self-driven work style with flexibility for variable working hours
