For our Business Unit High Voltage Products in Zurich-Oerlikon, we are looking for an R&D Engineer to strengthen our team for High Voltage Circuit Breakers development. • Execute product-development-related engineering activities for specific R&D projects from concept to series implementation, ensuring technical alignment with cross-functional experts and project stakeholders.
• Support the Design Lead in product development topics and ensure structured documentation of development activities.
• Plan and supervise assembly, disassembly and inspection of prototypes together with other experts.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of R&D processes and activities.

• Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a closely related subject from a Polytechnical/Technical University.
• Working experience in an R&D environment is a plus.
• Experience in project management is a plus.
• Good know-how in 3D CAD and FEM software tools required.
• High expectations on quality of work in all regards.
• Independent, proactive and goal‑oriented personality.
• Practically oriented and hands‑on way of working.
• Self‑motivated, committed, willing to learn.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent command of English and German, both written and spoken.
