Development Engineer Electronics

In this interdisciplinary role, you will contribute to the full product lifecycle and work closely with experts from Electronics, Software, Mechanics, and Production Engineering to ensure reliable, standards-compliant solutions. • Conceptualization, development, commissioning (software integration, device setup), verification, and industrialization of electronic products
• Standards-compliant EMC testing in internal and external laboratories
• Work and documentation according to PCP (Product Creation Process) and the “L5” procedure for Domain Electronics
• Interdisciplinary project work with Product Lead, Lead Domain Platform Electronics, Lead Domain Electronics, Architecture, Software, Mechanics, Production Engineering, EMS Support, Procurement, and others
• Use of the function block library and development of new function blocks
• Participation in test procedures, test plans, and manufacturing concepts
• Ensuring compliance with high quality requirements throughout the entire product life cycle
• Product support, e.g., handling quality cases

• Degree in Electrical Engineering (University of Applied Sciences, BSc, or equivalent)
• Experience in product development within the manufacturing industry for high volume electronic products
• Experience and methodological knowledge in Systems Engineering
• Knowledge of analog and digital circuit design as well as embedded systems including field buses
• Experience with EMC tests and relevant standards (especially EN60730) is an advantage
• Independent, proactive doer with a passion for embedded systems, a systematic working style, and quick comprehension
• Team player with a sense of humor, strong communication skills, and enthusiasm for high quality products
• Advantageous: potential for Lead Domain Electronics (“Electronics Sub Project Lead”)
• Very good English skills are mandatory, German skills are a big advantage
