Established in 2025, Hexagon Robotics develops humanoid robots for industrial sectors to address labor shortages and enable the transition from automation to autonomy. The first humanoid product, AEON, was launched in June 2025 and combines agility, awareness, spatial intelligence and versatility to provide a market‑leading solution for automotive, transportation, aerospace, manufacturing, and logistics customers.
We are looking for an experienced Electronics Engineer to design and develop robust electronic systems for our next‑generation humanoid robots. You will collaborate closely with multi‑disciplinary teams to take hardware from early prototypes through to scalable, production‑ready solutions.
Your Mission- Rapid prototyping at both system and board level
- Component selection, schematic capture, PCB layout, and creation of wiring diagrams
- Define, execute, and document comprehensive test plans
- Actively participate in debugging and root‑cause analysis of hardware and software issues
- Work closely with internal teams and external partners across the development lifecycle
- Advanced degree (FH or university: BSc, MSc, or PhD) in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience as an Electronics Engineer
- At least 2 years of hands‑on experience with Altium ECAD
- Previous experience in robotics
- Proven experience specifying, outsourcing, and validating custom Li‑Ion batteries and BMS solutions
- Strong background in high‑speed digital design and experience with Lattice FPGAs, and MIPI cameras
- Hands‑on lab experience, including board bring‑up, measurements, debugging, and soldering
- Proficient in English; basic German skills are an advantage
