We are currently seeking an experienced Composite Design Engineer to join a pioneering, long-term aircraft development program with a world-class OEM in the aerospace industry. This role is based in one of Switzerland’s most breathtaking regions, offering an exceptional quality of life.

🔑 Responsibilities

• Develop models and drawings for composite primary structures using Siemens NX
• Define lay-up sequences, laminate structures, ply books, and core materials using Fibersim
• Work closely with production teams to ensure designs are optimised for manufacturing processes
• Assist in creating structural test plans, interpreting test data, and verifying designs meet certification requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field
• 10+ years of proven experience in composite design engineering, specifically within the aerospace industry
• Professional expertise in both Siemens NX and Fibresim is mandatory for this position
• Familiarity with aviation regulatory standards (FAA/EASA)
• Hands-on approach to problem-solving
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Professional proficiency in English
• Eligibility to work in Switzerland (EU/EFTA citizenship or valid Swiss work permit required)
