Manufacturing Process Engineer (Project focus) (80-100%) Summary
Shape scalable manufacturing processes and bring products successfully into series production. As Lead Make, you connect product industrialization, equipment engineering and operations in global projects.
What You'll Do- Lead end-to-end design and optimization of global manufacturing and assembly processes in industrialization projects
- Act as Lead Make in product creation and lifecycle projects, representing manufacturing processes in the core team
- Drive process industrialization and transparently align product, process and equipment requirements
- Collaborate closely with Supply Chain, Equipment Engineering, Quality, IT and Operations worldwide
- Design and optimize process flows, line layouts and global production concepts
- Own implementation, validation and ramp‑up of manufacturing processes including pilot runs
- Perform technical risk analyses (PFMEA) and ensure implementation of mitigation measures
- Ensure process capability and monitor performance and stability
- Support continuous improvement initiatives such as automation, cost optimization and global transfers
- University or technical college degree in engineering (e.g. mechanical, industrial, production) or similar
- Several years of experience in manufacturing engineering, process engineering or industrialization in a global environment
- Strong technical background in device manufacturing, manufacturing equipment and process validation methods (PFMEA, control plans)
- Ability to influence and collaborate across functions, cultures and hierarchy levels
- Structured, analytical and entrepreneurial personality with high ownership and accountability
- Very good English skills (C1);
German proficiency (B2‑C1) is necessary.
