Role and responsibilities
What Will You Do
Own the full development of power electronics for our electromagnetic actuation systems — from prototype to certified product.
Design power stages, control loops, and embedded firmware for real-time operation.
Work across the full development cycle: schematic capture, PCB layout, thermal design, enclosure, and regulatory compliance.
Prepare designs for small-batch manufacturing and support production.
Collaborate directly with our CTO and Head of R&D with minimal overhead.
Shape how we do electronics engineering as a company — this is the first dedicated role in this domain
Master's degree (completed or near completion) in electrical engineering, power electronics, mechatronics, robotics, or a closely related field.
Strong foundation in power electronics: converter topologies, gate driving, current control, thermal management, and EMC.
Experience with PCB design and embedded firmware development (C/C++).
Able to work autonomously and take ownership of a project end-to-end.
A generalist mindset — comfortable switching between analog design, firmware, mechanical integration, and regulatory work.
Fluent in English.
Eligible to work in Switzerland (the canton of Zürich) — Swiss or EU citizenship, or a B or C permit.
