About The Role
In this role, you will perform and certify maintenance tasks on B757-200 PW2000 aircraft under Part 145 regulations, ensuring all work meets regulatory and OEM standards. You will take ownership of inspections, troubleshooting, and defect rectification, providing reliable technical decisions and clear documentation. Your contribution will directly support aircraft availability, safety, and operational performance.

- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and checks on B757-200 PW2000 in accordance with approved data.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and rectify defects, ensuring timely and effective resolution to support operational requirements.
- Complete and sign Certificates of Release to Service (CRS) within the scope of your B1 authorization and company procedures.
- Use AMM, SRM, IPC, and other OEM technical documentation to plan, execute, and record maintenance tasks.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary maintenance teams to ensure efficient workflow and task allocation.
- Conduct detailed aircraft inspections, identify findings, and implement corrective actions as required.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are accurately documented in maintenance records and information systems.
- Adhere to all safety, SMS, and human factors requirements during planning and execution of maintenance tasks.
- Valid B1 EASA Part 66 License with type rating on B757-200 PW2000.
- Proven experience performing B1 line and/or base maintenance on commercial aircraft, including certification responsibilities.
- Solid understanding of EASA Part 145 maintenance environment and associated procedures.
- Demonstrated experience using AMM, SRM, IPC, and other OEM technical documentation in daily maintenance tasks.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills on airframe and systems relevant to B757-200 PW2000.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary maintenance team in a time-sensitive environment.
- Good communication skills in a technical, multinational setting.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
- Previous maintenance experience in a Swiss or similar European MRO environment.
- Experience with additional Boeing or narrow-body aircraft types.
- Familiarity with digital maintenance management systems and electronic technical records.
- Knowledge of lean maintenance practices and continuous improvement methods.
- EASA Part 66 B1 License with B757-200 PW2000 type rating (required).
- Completed approved aircraft maintenance engineering apprenticeship or equivalent technical training (required).
- Additional type ratings on other commercial aircraft (preferred).
- Human Factors, Fuel Tank Safety, and EWIS training in line with EASA requirements (preferred but can be updated if expired).
