Senior Application Engineer responsibilities include:

  • Managing customer expectations and providing high‑quality on‑site and remote technical support for GNSS applications and projects.
  • Acting as a technical expert, empowering customers through design‑in guidance, technical documentation and personalized support.
  • Authoring and contributing to technical product documentation, including datasheets, integration and user manuals, application notes and technical content for internal and external audiences.
  • Collecting and processing customer feedback, identifying areas for improvement and communicating insights to internal stakeholders to drive product enhancements.
  • Collaborating proactively with Product Management, Product Development and R&D during product definition, development and improvement processes.
  • Providing customized design‑in vehicles, prototype deliveries and tailored technical solutions to accelerate customer adoption of new technologies.
  • Analyzing non‑conformities, supporting root‑cause investigations and contributing to corrective actions with R&D teams.
  • Hosting technical trainings and workshops for Field Application Engineers and customers worldwide.
  • Providing support from customer design‑in through maintenance phases, ensuring seamless integration and maximum product value.

Required skills and experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Hands‑on experience in embedded software and/or hardware design (digital and analog).
  • Customer‑focused mindset with the ability to quickly understand customer system architectures and provide expert technical advice.
  • Strong communication skills, able to interface effectively with global teams and customers.
  • Self‑driven and highly organized, with excellent time‑management, prioritization and follow‑up skills.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally to support customer engagements and events.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in another European or APAC language is a plus.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Experience with Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) such as GPS, GLONASS, Beidou or Galileo.
  • Understanding of high‑precision GNSS technologies (RTK, VRS, OSR, SSR) and sensor‑fusion technology.
  • Experience working with the automotive market and related applications (e.g., ADAS, autonomous driving, telematics, infotainment systems).
  • Skills in embedded software debugging and experience with development platforms (e.g., emulators, debuggers).
  • Programming proficiency in C, C++, C#, Perl or Python.
  • Background in hardware design (analog, RF, digital).
