Location: Zürich
to support complex projects in the railway industry. The selected candidate will work in a multidisciplinary environment, contributing to the development, integration, and validation of train control systems and functionalities, ensuring technical consistency, safety, performance, and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the definition, maintenance, and consistency of system, software, and technical requirements supporting train control system development and integration.
- Support the design, analysis, and implementation of train control logic, system behaviour, and technical interfaces.
- Collaborate with system, software, signalling, testing, and project teams to ensure proper development and integration of control solutions.
- Support verification, validation, and testing activities related to train control functions and overall system performance.
- Ensure technical consistency and alignment between control system design, operational needs, and project constraints.
- Contribute to technical investigations, issue resolution, and integration activities during the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with railway standards, safety regulations, and project technical requirements.
- Degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- At least 8 years of experience in Train Control, Systems Engineering, or Railway Engineering.
- Proven experience in the railway sector.
- Good understanding of train control systems, system integration, and validation activities.
- Experience in managing or contributing to system, software, and technical requirements within complex engineering projects.
- Knowledge of system engineering processes and project development lifecycle.
- Experience in complex rail projects (rolling stock, signalling, or infrastructure).
- Knowledge of international railway standards and regulations.
- Experience working in international and cross-functional teams.
