Electrical System Engineer

Contract: Permanent contract, full-time position

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support multidisciplinary systems engineering activities from early concept through certification, with a primary focus on electrical aspects.
• Drive technical investigations related to electrical issues and contribute to the design, optimisation, or modification of electrical systems for aircraft applications.
• Coordinate technical activities and programme interfaces with external suppliers and partners.
• Define, review, and support ground and flight test requirements and related documentation.
• Ensure compliance with applicable airworthiness and certification requirements (FAR / EASA CS-23).

Our ideal candidate should have:

• University degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering, with at least 7 years of experience in aerospace electrical system development and certification.
• Proven experience with RTCA DO-254 and airborne electronic hardware certification processes.
• Solid knowledge of CS/FAR Part 23, DO-160, DO-178C, ARP
  4754A, and ARP
  4761 standards.
• Good English communication skills (B2 level); knowledge of German is considered an advantage.
• Strong project coordination and supplier management skills, with an analytical, collaborative, and self-driven working approach.
