Civil Engineering CAD Technician

Are you an experienced CAD Technician with a background in civil or structural engineering?

An established engineering consultancy is looking for a motivated Civil Engineering CAD Technician to join its growing team in Zurich. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a wide range of technical projects across structural engineering, civil engineering, infrastructure and bridge construction.

As Civil Engineering CAD Technician, you will support project teams across all stages of design and planning.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing detailed construction and execution drawings.
• Creating and updating technical drawings and engineering models.
• Supporting project teams across planning and design phases.
• Working on projects across civil engineering, structural engineering and bridge construction.
• Using modern 3D and BIM tools to support project delivery.
• Ensuring all drawings and documentation are accurate, clear and delivered to a high standard.

You’ll bring:

• Completed training as a CAD Technician / Draftsperson, ideally with a specialism in civil engineering.
• Experience using CAD and BIM software.
• Knowledge of Allplan would be highly advantageous.
• A careful, structured and reliable approach to work.
• Strong attention to detail.
