As a Junior Avionics Engineer, you will provide hands‑on support in developing advanced avionics platforms. You will work within a dynamic team of eight, bridging the gap between hardware design and embedded software integration.
- Hardware Design & PCB Layout
:
Develop and design flight computer hardware and printed circuit board (PCB) layouts using Altium or KiCad, including the preparation of manufacturing files. - Automated Test Scripts
:
Write and execute test software and scripts in Python, C/C++, or Bash to validate avionics devices on Linux test benches. - Commissioning & Lab Troubleshooting
:
Perform systematic troubleshooting, diagnostics, and functional testing on electronic assemblies in the lab using oscilloscopes and logic analyzers. - Embedded Software Integration
:
Install, configure, and flash embedded C/C++ software onto the developed hardware components and microcontrollers. - Flight Operations Support
:
Provide hands‑on assistance with flight testing preparation, system setup, and telemetry monitoring in the field.
- Experience
:
Hands‑on hardware development experience (avionics, automotive, or robotics) within a professional corporate environment. - PCB Design
:
Solid proficiency in board layout using Altium or Ki Cad , along with hardware troubleshooting experience. - Testing & Linux
:
Experience writing scripts (
Python, C/C++, or Bash
) for automated hardware validation within a Linux environment. - Lab & Interfaces
:
Comfortable using laboratory equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, JTAG) and a solid understanding of serial protocols (
CAN, UART, SPI, I2C
). - Languages & Mindset
:
Fluent in English
; a proactive, structured, and completely independent way of working.
- Embedded C/C++:
Practical knowledge of programming microcontrollers (e.g., STM
32). - Flight Operations
:
Initial exposure to flight testing, setup, or telemetry monitoring. - German
:
Good command of German is a plus.
