At Hitachi Energy, we are advancing a sustainable energy future for all. Join our GIS Development team within the High Voltage Products Business Unit in Zurich‑Oerlikon. You will be part of an international R&D team developing next‑generation gas‑insulated switch gear technologies for high‑voltage applications. The team combines experienced specialists and developing engineers. We are now looking for a senior engineer who can strengthen our technical expertise and take ownership of complex engineering challenges.

• Deliver R&D activities for high‑voltage product development
• Support the development of innovative eco‑gas solutions
• Lead technical investigations and root cause analyses
• Drive product improvement and reliability initiatives
• Plan, support, and evaluate testing and validation activities
• Collaborate with global laboratories and external suppliers
• Provide technical support for existing products and applications
• Share knowledge and contribute to technical excellence across teams

• Master’s degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum five years of industry experience in engineering or R&D
• Strong technical expertise in electrical engineering
• Experience working in an industrial product development environment
• Proven ability to work with multiple stakeholders
• Strong communication skills and fluent English
