Telecom Hardware Engineer

Take on the hardware planning of telecommunications and remote control infrastructures within the scope of a long‑term project assignment.

For one of our clients in the energy sector, we are looking for an experienced Telecom Hardware Engineer who is responsible for the technical implementation of new construction and refurbishment projects.

• Technical support and hardware engineering of telecommunications and remote control infrastructures
• Comprehensive hardware planning of new builds and refurbishments (drawings, manufacturing documents and documentation according to internal guidelines)
• Maintenance and further development of system documentation
• Support during the operational phase (Level 1 and Level 2 support) in fault analysis
• Ensuring management system‑compliant implementation of occupational safety, health and environmental protection

• Completed training as an electrical engineer, electrical planner, electrical fitter or comparable (e.g. technician HF electrical engineering)
• 2–3 years of professional experience in hardware planning in the telecommunications sector
• Good knowledge of telecommunications and energy transmission or distribution systems
• Proficient in using the tools Visio, Word, Excel as well as FNT Command
• Structured, conceptual and solution‑oriented working style
• Ability to clearly present complex technical issues and to moderate working groups in a goal‑oriented manner
• Flexible, reliable and team‑oriented personality
• Languages:
  
  German (native), French or Italian (basic knowledge advantageous), English (basic knowledge)
• Confident handling of SharePoint, FNT Command and Microsoft Office
